Patti Finn and Friends are swinging in the sweater weather season
with their unique mix of Jazz, Pop, and Broadway classics in a torch singer’s style. This event features her full quartet of musicians for an evening of story and song with musical surprises along the way.

When native New Yorker Patti Finn relocated to Lynchburg
she never dreamed her musical pedigree would expand
to include more than 25 years of making jazz.
Currently teaching AP English in Lynchburg City schools,
she is like a cat…with 9 lives

Ed Mikenas, bass and steel lap guitar
As a studio musician based in NYC, Ed Mikenas toured with Skitch Henderson, Larry Elgart, Jay and the Americans, Scarlet Rivera, Esther Phillips, and the Alive Company. And he played venues that include Saturday Night Live, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Apollo, the Felt Forum, the Spectrum, and the Troubadour. He currently serves as adjunct Bass Professor at the University of Lynchburg, coaches a jazz ensemble at the Virginia Episcopal School, and is Organist and Choir Master of Amherst Presbyterian Church. |

Matt Rapiejko, drums and percussion
Matt Rapiejko is a professional touring musician on land and seas, orchestra pits and concert halls around the country and around the world. Just back this week from a solo guest entertainer show cruising the North Atlantic with his Celtic bodhron, he is making his Second Stage debut. |

Matthew Billings, piano
Matthew is a multifaceted instrumentalist, programmer and sound designer who has been involved in the music scene in several cities since the beginning of his professional career. His current list of live performance and programming credits include the Xerox International Jazz Festival, Buffalo Museum of Science, NYC Chain and Downtown Short Film festivals, as well as artists up and down the east coast. |

Glenn Buck, sax, flute, and organ
Originally from Utica, NY, Glenn Buck began playing with his father, a well-known musician, in central New York. A retired Lynchburg College professor, Glenn now composes and performs in bands throughout central Virginia. His works are featured on Spotify and YouTube. |
