Lynchburg's sax and clarinet mavin Ken Matthews now calls his various groups of musicians
“Ken's Rhythm Changers.” As the title indicates, Ken’s bands of musicians vary as widely
as the music they play.  Ken’s Rhythm Changers will be playing in the style of a
New Orleans Second Line Brass Band. Ken says “We are stellar local musicians.”
Ken added, “It's a powerhouse group that energizes tunes from New Orleans from
spin, funk, and blues to jazz and ballads.” Ken listened and learned the music on Frenchman Street
in New Orleans as a child. “We went to visit my aunt in New Orleans every summer
when I was growing up, and I fell in love with brass bands there. I discovered how
​infectious their sounds were. Our concert on November 22nd is going to be a lot of fun!”
